Rich is VP Data Science & Analytics at Apex Parks Group where he is responsible for all data science demands across the business, designing and executing on the data analytics strategy. Apex Parks is one of the largest entertainment center companies in the United States operating amusement parks, water parks and family entertainment centers. Rich has twenty years of experience in Analytics and is an experienced thought leader by combining an analytical and data driven strategy with a deep understanding of business and finance to drive business performance in a breadth of industries including ecommerce, restaurants, hotels, retail, distribution, manufacturing and real estate. Rich teaches Analytics in a Master’s program at San Diego State University where he recently co-designed the new Innovation course and has a Graduate Certificate in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern. He is also a CPA, spent six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and has been a CFO. Rich received his BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
