In her three-decade publishing career, Stacy never looked over her shoulder to see what the competition was doing. Her focus has been on the pursuit of innovative excellence. This characteristic helped to catapult her career from sales rep to National Sales Manager, and from Marketing Manager to Director of Marketing. After a number of stellar growth years launching an unprecedented number of successful first editions, her Marketing domain was extended to all of the quantitative disciplines in higher education including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business and Economics.
Stacy recognized the promise of digital innovation to higher education and created a new position, VP, Director of Digital Strategy, that allowed her to bring student and faculty voices into digital content development. Stacy now applies her focus on innovative excellence to developing content for digital learning environments. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two teenage children.

Meryl Johnson develops and manages CMA’s digital presence, which includes the Association’s websites, app, mobile platforms, digital partnerships, video distribution, database development, innovation projects and digital advertising initiatives of CMA TV properties and live events. With more than a decade in entertainment media, before CMA, Johnson from Warner Bros. Pictures where she was Director of Digital Marketing. She managed the marketing budgets and teams in developing programs for all aspects of Warner Bros. Pictures theatrical digital marketing campaigns’ paid media, social media, creative, mobile/tablet apps, CRM programs, digital public relations, promotions, and experiential events for a film slate totaling $1.5 billion domestic box office.Her film campaigns include: “Get Hard,” “Entourage Movie,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Gallows,” “Vacation,” “Black Mass,” “Our Brand is Crisis,” and “Batman v. Superman.” Prior to working with Warner Bros., Johnson’s previous affiliations include Focus Features, NBC Universal, Clear Channel Broadcasting, and Cumulus Broadcasting.

Jessica’s passion for learning has led her to join and be active in industry organizations, such as The Advertising Research Foundation and the CMO Council. She most recently was a judge for the 2017 Webby Awards.
