To deliver these rapidly moving strategies a CFO must be able to allow creativity to flourish to ensure that returns are maximized for the organization. How do we achieve this in an environment that requires a higher rate of failure than has previously been seen. The role of the CFO needs to adapt to align with the changing shape of organizations to ensure that a culture of creativity can exist and flourish.

Tim has been in the insurance industry for the past 15 years working in a variety of roles on the carrier and broking side. Currently the CFO/COO of Aon’s Global Analytics and Innovation business hubbed out of Singapore, Tim is responsible for the day to day management of operational, strategic and financial matters. Tim started off with Aon in the Middle East before moving to become the Vice President of Corporate Planning in Chicago, driving changes across reporting at the firm and leading a number of strategic initiatives. Throughout his career Tim has led several global teams working across 5 different continents and 6 different countries. This is on top of his childhood spent in many different countries around the world, assisting in his development as a truly global persondeeming he has no fixed abode). Tim has a background in Finance, Operations, Strategy, Underwriting and Risk Management which has provided an opportunity for him to lead a variety of businesses during his career. He holds a Masters of Commerce from Deakin University in Australia and Membership with CPA Australia and ANZIIF.
