Smart cities are built with extensive, diverse and complex infrastructure. A Smart city will have operate its public infrastructure such as utilities, transportation, healthcare, financial at the best efficiency level. Unfortunately, most cities face the challenges to transform the existing brownfield infrastructure, and hence struggle to crate new value added services for its citizens. As easy as it may sound to say Smart City, the dynamic nature and inherent infrastructural readiness and availability challenges make the most Smart City initiatives a mountain to move. In this talk, CK will share practical insights, how some of those challenges can be addressed with IoT and 5G.
CK is a Senior Business Strategy, and Technology leader with over 15 years of extensive international experience in solutions architecture, program management, and business process transformation. As a CEO- AllThingsConnected and Founder IoTSG, CK works with organizations crafting their Digital Journey, and MakeIoTHappen Strategy. CK also conducts business and technology research, and has spoken at 50+ leadership forums, prestigious international conferences. He advises senior leaders on how advanced technologies can prime enterprises for the future. He has created new strategies, and frameworks on how the traditional methods of operational technologies can be integrated with new connected technologies for the successful implementation of Digital Initiatives. CK earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and a Master of Technological Design, Mechatronics from National University of Singapore. Currently he lives with his family in Singapore, and travels extensively in Asia, managing different cultures & dynamics.
